SPLENDA® Brown Sugar Blend gives you the browning, rising, texture, moistness and molasses-like flavor characteristic of baked goods made with brown sugar but with half the sugar. I've read (Dr Bernstein's book) that the tablets of Splenda and other sweetners are usually sugar-free whereas the packets and granulated do contain sugar. I don't spike with Splenda, whether powdered or in foods and drinks but then I don't use much.
